"Providing a lifetime home and superior care for exotic felines"
She had not received veterinary care for several years and was suffering from allergies, hair loss, borderline diabetes, and a cataract that had caused her to lose vision in one eye.
Clouded leopards are from Southeast Asia and a re highly endangered. China was purchased from an exotic animal dealer in the fall of 2002 at the age of eight years old.
Now under proper care, she is continuing to recover from her problems.
Amos is a black leopard, born on Christmas Eve 2001, and acquired by Panther Ridge at the age of seven days.
Amos is a popular ambassador for Panther Ridge, raising awareness of the problems posed by irresponsible breeding of captive exotic cats. Unlike lions and tigers, leopards do not roar. Their growl and snarl is very impressive, however.

When Hurricane Katrina damaged the Lousiana Audubon Zoo, they were unable to care for some of their Clouded Leopards and asked if Panther Ridge could provide them with a home. Four Clouded Leopards arrived who appeared fearful of even a little rain or wind. Kai, Pi, Mattie, Maggie.

Unfortunately, Kai health was failing, and he wasn't responding to medical care. Further tests found that he filled with cancer so we had to let him go.

Pi, Mattie, and Maggie have all recovered from their trauma beautifully and are doing well..
